Project Management Program

Providing Our Member Skills To Compete In The Marketplace

The LMCI sponsors the Project Management Program to provide our employers and members of the IUPAT the skills to compete in the increasing competitive construction marketplace.

An organizations ability to attract, develop, effectively deploy, and retain knowledgeable, talented project managers is key to their achieving strategic objectives and success.

The program is a combination of Distance Learning & Classroom Instruction. Along with other topics, prerequisites are completed via distance learning. Completion of the prerequisites will be verified prior to arrival to the classroom portion of the program. The classroom portion of the program consist of three days, focusing on basic core competencies. The class is held from Thursday morning to mid-day Saturday. In addition to the material covered above participants learn to further develop their valuable personal and relationship skills.

The program is offered once annually in each United States regions and Canada. It is open to both union and contractor sides of the industry. Due to a limited class size applicants are encouraged to apply early once the class is announced in your area. Classes have a minimum of 15 and are limited to a maximum of 25 participants for maximum learning capabilities.
